Allah says in the holy Quran, Prophet Muhammad didn't bring a new religion; he came with the religion of Abraham and his followers are commanded to say: “We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; and what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.” (Quran2:136)
All prophets sent to Jews, Christians, and Muslims, and whom they follow, are from the lineage of the prophet Abraham. Prophet Abraham had two sons, Isaac and Ismael. From the lineage of the prophet Isaac came all the judo Christian Prophets, and from the other son Isameel came Prophet Muhammad. The religion they all preached is the religion of the Prophet Abraham. God has named every person who believes in Him a Muslim. In that case, Jews, Christians, and Muslims all are brothers in religion. They believe in the same creator and have common religious practices, moral values, and goals of bringing peace and security to the world, and they have a common enemy, Satan, as well, who, with his Godless, destructive ideologies and degeneration, is causing bloodshed and destruction on earth.
Allah in the Quran says, disbelievers are helpers of one another, if you do not act in that way there will be great turmoil in the land. All the troubles, wars, conflicts, and moral degeneration the world is facing right now stem from irreligiousness. To work against this in a strong Intellectual way, good Muslims, good Christians, and good Jews will have to come together and unite on faith.
But the thesis proposed by Samuel Huntington in 1993, claiming future clashes would be between Islamic and Christian-based Western civilizations, is being put into action. Christians and Jews are deliberately set against Muslims, and Muslims against Christians and Jews. In truth, there can be no clash between Western Judeo-Christian civilization and Islamic civilization because they are based on the same principles.
The real clash is between irreligious and religious ideologies. Irreligiousness has seeped into Western civilization and is a threat to Christianity and Judaism as much as it is to Islam. The radicalism being used to set Christians against muslims is actually artificially created in line with Huntington's thesis. Muslims are presented as people who are enemies of Western people, and Islam is presented as a religion of radicals. While Muslims are told in the Quran to be kind and merciful to the people of the book, the Quran praises Christians and says not all Jews and Christians are the same; there are among them believers who are devout to God. The Quran even entrusts the protection of churches, synagogues, and mosques to Muslims because these are places where God's name is frequently mentioned. Also, there is fear in the Christian world that Muslims will force people to convert to Islam. Forced conversion is against the teachings of the Quran, nor is it reasonable to force people to come to believe because it would lead to hypocrisy, which is strongly condemned in Islam. The Quran says Christians and Jews can be as they are because they already believe in one God. Dining with the People of the Book, consuming their food, and having marriages among them have also been deemed permissible. But those practicing otherwise are actually radicals; they have no idea about Islam, and such radicals can also be in Christianity and Judaism, which is a threat to their religion as well. Devout Muslims, Christians, and Jews should therefore all be allied to counter critical problems like radicalism, terrorism, and moral degeneration that comes from religiousness.
Muslims and People of the Book have the same one God. This single fact unites Muslims, Christians, and Jews. Once they unite based on their faith in God, and cooperate and respect and show compassion to one another, they will form a big and exemplary unity unseen before. The earth will become full of peace and security through the blessings of this unity. Moreover, the prophet Jesus is Muslims' beloved prophet, and their second coming is fervently awaited by faithful Muslims. Prophet Jesus's second coming has been predicted in the holy Quran. His return has been made a sign of the hour. According to many hadiths that have come true, Prophet Jesus will be making his second return in this century. The Quran says there will not be a single person who won't believe in Jesus before his death. Muslims, together with Christians, will be witnessing this great moment. Christian and Muslim unity is, therefore very important and promising for the good future of the world. The Jews and Muslims await for the Mahdi or Moshiach. Prophet Muhammad foretold every single detail about Mahdi Aleh Salam. Mahdi is the same person awaited by the Jews. Mahdi is the savior in the end times. The coming of Prophet Jesus together with Imam Mahdi is the time of rejoicements for all Jews, Christians, and Muslims. They, therefore, have more common things to be brothers for than any to fight over.
