There is no proof of evolutionary creation in the Holy Quran

An attempt is being made to reconcile the alleged scientific theory of evolution with the Quran to make people believe that the Quran supports science. Quran does support science; in fact, Quran encourages science in many of its verses, and many scientific miracles found in the Qur'an run parallel to
modern scientific findings. But those Muslim brothers/sisters of ours who think the theory of evolution has anything to do with science are unaware of the fact that science itself has refuted the theory of evolution. People who have little or no knowledge of evolution and its superstitious claims easily fall prey to the false propaganda of evolutionists and try to bring evidence for defending the theory of evolution from the Quran, giving Quranic verses a different meaning than the true meaning they have. And this is exactly what the evolutionists want,
in order to make their false theory prevail in the faithful society, to gain the support of faithful people, they come up with the claims that the theory of evolution doesn't talk about Origin but how living beings changed from one species to another, that it is supported by the science community, researchers, and majority of people. Muslims then mistakenly believe God might have chosen the evolutionary mechanism to bring about living beings, and that this evolutionary mechanism might have happened under Allah's control.  Sure, If Allah had so willed, Allah could have chosen evolutionary process, and we can only know that from the Qur'an, but there is no proof, no sign, no verse referring to evolutionary creation in the Qur'an.

We will shortly examine the verses of the  Qur'an which some Muslims mistakenly associate with the theory of Evolution. But let us first understand why a faithful person cannot at the same time believe in evolution

Evolution is a theory that rejects the existence of a Creator and seeks the origin of life in matter alone. It maintains that all living beings, with their perfect functioning systems, and all the beauty and symmetry in them, are the result of a blind coincidence. This blind co-incidence brought lifeless matter together and formed the first primitive living cell. This single cell then gradually over the course of millions of years of deformation began to form different animal species of which one is Human being.

The claims of evolutionists are no different from those of the past pagans and materialist thinkers. Ancient Egyptian, Babylonian, and Sumerians believed life came from inanimate substances and evolved gradually into different living beings. From Sumerians the idea of evolution was transferred to materialist Philosophers of Greek, who looked for the origin of life in matter such as water, fire, air, etc, While life, as has been scientifically proven, can only originate from life. It cannot come into being by chance or by mere coming together of lifeless matter. With the rule of Christianity in Europe, materialism began to diminish, it was revived again by the modern materialist philosophers and later particularly with Darwin it gained momentum. Since then it is being taught as a scientific fact, even in the schools of Muslim countries.

The theory of evolution and similar myths always existed in one or another way to target the existence of God. Muslims cannot accept a theory that rejects a creator right from the outset and takes blind chance or coincidence as idols. While a faithful Muslim reads in the Quran that Allah created Adam with his own hands. if a Muslim believes in Evolution, he will be denying God's statement of creating Adam with his own hands. He will be denying the miraculous birth of the Prophet Jesus, too. He will also deny the existence of Angels, Djinns, and the presence of human beings in the spiritual world of souls.

But before that, Allah says if anyone claims otherwise, ask them for proof, Evolutionists come up with misleading, distorted proofs that science has already refuted, science through concrete evidence of fossils has established the fact of creation that all living beings appeared on earth fully formed and none has ever evolved into any other species. This scientific fact is compatible with the verses of the Quran.

Some people misinterpret Quranic verses to defend evolution

Quran and Sunnah are the soul guides of Muslims. There are many verses about the creation of the Universe and life in the Quran. And since the Quran is very clear, Allah would have mentioned the evolutionary process very clearly, but all the related verses in the Quran point to the Instant, flawless and fully formed creation of Allah. However, some Muslims under the influence of evolutionist propaganda distort the verses of the holy Quran, giving them the meanings the verses cannot possibly bear if compared with other verses.  Those who distort the verses in the light of their own interests and claim it is what Allah means by the verse,  are not aware of the fact that they are inventing lies against Allah.

Some of the verses that are erroneously given as

the proof of creation by Evolution from the Quran are as follows:

                 مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَرْجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقَارًا وَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ أَطْوَارًا
What is the matter with you that you do not hope for honor from Allah, when He created you by successive stages? (Surah Nuh, 13-14)

Muslims who support evolution give the words successive stages  meaning of going through evolutionary stages , that man evolved from ape-like creatures to the form of human. However, the interpretation of this verse by many Islamic scholars in the light of other Quranic verses suggests that these successive stages are by no means evolutionary stages but stages that start from the joining of sperm and egg to the development of an embryo in the womb until the birth as a human.

Muhammad ibn Jarir al-Tabari, a great Persian scholar, interpreted the stages as the stages of human development in the womb,
"You we were first in the form of a sperm, then He created you as a blood clot, then a small piece of flesh."

In fact one of the verses of the Holy Quran talks about these developmental stages quite clearly:

Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators.  (Surah Al-Muminun, 14)

Another verse frequently used by Muslim Evolutionist is

"........Have you disbelieved in He who created you from dust and then from a sperm drop and then proportioned you as a man?

The expression dust and drop here by which Muslim evolutionists mean the coming into existence of the first living cell out of mud and water, actually means the creation of first man Adam directly by dust without any evolutionary ancestors existing before, and his progeny out of sperm to a fully formed human being.  There is no supposed creation by evolution mentioned here.

Imam Tabri interpretation of the verse: Would you deny Allah, Who created your father Adam from dust, then created you from a man and a woman's fluids, then wrapped you in human form? Allah, Who gave you these things and made you what you are, brought you into being to make you another living thing after you die and return to soil.

Allah says in the Quran, the likeness of Adam and of the prophet Jesus is the same in his sight, he created Adam from the earth and without Parents with his command be. and he created Jesus also without father, with his command be.

Those who think Allah needs some physical cause for something to be brought into existence should look at the verse in which Prophet Jesus molds the mud into the shape of a bird and blows it by the leave of Allah which would then turn into a real bird. Prophet Moses staff that turned into a living snake is also an example of instant creation. Evolution cannot in anyway explain this miracle.

Misinterpretation of the verse that indicates the turning of some disobedient people into despised apes

''You are well aware of those of you who broke the Sabbath. We said to them, "Be apes, despised, cast out." (Surah Baqara, 65)

Muslim evolutionists bring evidence of humans having apes as their ancestors from this verse of the Quran,

1) while this verse could be first of all in the sense of character, that God resembled their character to that of apes. (Allah knows best)

Even if it's taken in the physical sense,

2) It refutes the claims of evolution, because evolution talks about the turning of apes into humans through millions of years of evolution, while this verse talks about the sudden and miraculous turning of humans into apes. It is again instant creation that is mentioned here.

3)The verse says only once and only a small number of people were subjected to the punishment, while the theory of evolution claims all people came from the apes or ape like ancestors.

Moreover, there is a verse from the holy Qur'an that says that Allah turned deviant people into pigs also. Muslim evolutionists who bring forth proof of human evolution from apes from the Qur'an are silent about pig transformation.

All the verses mentioned here by no means show any reference to the evolutionary creation of humans.

The claims of evolutionists furthermore go against the good moral values taught by the holy Quran. The theory of evolution justifies violence, wars, and killing by claiming that life is a struggle for survival and that only the strongest survive while the weak is eliminated. It teaches purposelessness, meaninglessness of life and that life came as a result of random errors, while Allah says Allah created everything with a purpose and with fine calculations. And that people here are sent for a trial and they will be held accountable for the deeds they did here on this earth.

As we have seen there is mention of evolutionary creation in the Quran and science also refutes it. There is no need for Muslims to support or propagate this theory. They should know Allah's creation is Instantaneous and miraculous and He says the truth that whenever he intends to bring forth something, He just commands it be and it becomes.
