Terrorism has no place in Islam. However if a Muslim commit terrorist activity it cannot be labelled Muslim terror just as if an act is committed by a Jew or a Christian isn't labelled as Jew or Christian terror. That's because murdering innocent people in the name of religion is unacceptable and among those who are killed by the terrorist attacks are Muslims as well. According to Islam murdering of innocent people is tormented with hell forever. Therefore a religious person who fears God cannot ever commit such a crime. In fact any attack that is perpetrated in the name of religion is an attack made against religion. It may be that they carried out the attack to make religion appear as evil, to incite hate in the heart of people against religion.
All the theistic divine religions commands peace love and brotherhood even with non-believers. Terrorism however is the complete opposite of religion it is based on mercilessness, cruelty oppression, bloodshed and misery. Perpetrators of terrorism therefore cannot be sought in religion but in disbelief. People with fascist, communist, racist and materialistic mindset who doesn't believe in God and have no fear of God should be considered as the potential suspects. The name or identity of the perpetrator isn't important, if one carries act of murder of innocent people he is not a believer in God but a disbeliever. For this reason to label terrorism with Islam is an erroneous concept. A muslim would never commit an act of terror on the contrary he is responsible for preventing terrorism and bringing peace and justice to the world. Terrorism basically is the use of violence against innocent civilians, this is by no means different from the murder committed by Mao, Stalin or Hitler, and is therefore a crime against humanity.
God in the Quran, the book of guidance for conscience people, commands man to adopt good morals such as love, compassion, peace tolerance and mercy. The values of Quran hold a Muslim responsible for treating all people Muslim or non Muslim with kindness. God forbids all kinds of mischief. Anarchy, terror, killing innocent people suicide bombing, creating fear and insecurity are among the great mischief. Allah says anyone who safes the life of a single innocent is as if he saved the whole humanity, and anyone who takes life is as if he has murdered the whole humanity. All this reveals that terrorist attacks are against Islam. Being a Muslim cannot be reconciled with terror, on the contrary a Muslim is one who strives to end terrorism mischief on earth and bringing peaceful secure environment for everyone on earth.
But how is it that terror is associated with Islam and some Muslims are even committing terrorism in the name of Islam?
True teachings of the religion can be distorted by its pseudo adherents, Crusaders sets a good example for this. crusaders were European Christians who acted totally against the teachings of bible, gospel, they undertook the expedition to free holy land from the Muslim rule and killed every Jew and Muslim there, while none of this was justified by the teachings of gospel, gospel says Prophet Jesus commanded people to love their enemies and pray for those who persecute. And if one slaps you offer them the other cheek. The major reason behind the crusaders being so hostile and violent despite the fact that the teachings of gospel was based on love is because they were made up of ignorant people who knew nothing about their own book.
Same is with the radical group among Muslims perpetuating attacks in the name of religion while the true religion has nothing to do with it. In the time of our prophet: there were 2 basic social structures in Arabia, city dwellers and Bedouins desert Arabs, city dwellers commercial links to the outer world grew them in art, aesthetic and civilized life and the Bedouins were nomadic desert tribe, having no taste and acquisition of art, culture, they developed unrefined harsh character. Islam spread in Arabian peninsula and all the tribes there accepted it, among these were the desert Arabs, their poor intellectual and cultural background prevented them from understanding the profundity and nobel spirit of Islam. God states about Bedouins in Quran: (tawba 97)
This group became the part of Islam in the time of prophet. And later it emerged as the most fanatic and extremely vulgar sect in Islam. They were known as Kharijits. Kharijitis had no comprehension of Islam and its beautiful values, they waged war against all the other Muslims. They even assassinated the caliph Ali who was one of the closest friends of prophet. Just as crusaders distorted the teachings of Christianity so did some groups misinterpreted quranic verses and resorted to brutality. The violence they perpetuated was the result of their social structure, rather than the religion to which they claim to adhere.
So those who carry out attacks in the name of Islam are actually people of Bedouin nature and form a minority. These Bedouins devoid of love for humans try to make Islam, a religion of peace love and unity, a tool for their barbarism.
For the last few centuries Muslims have been subjected to great violence by western forces and their affiliates because of the cruel nature of bigots. However Muslim needs to respond to this with purely Quranic stance. Quran doesn't command Muslims to respond violence with violence, fussilat 34
Consequently, carrying out attacks to represent oppressed nation, against innocent people of other countries is by no means compatible with the Quran. One thing need to be stressed here is Islam represented in the Quran is a guidance to live ones live on the true path, and Muslims have responsibility to spread this message with love and compassion to all people nations and cultures. People who commit terrorist attacks in the name of Islam, and establish oppressive organisations and regimes terrifying the world instead of beautifying it, it is conscience people's responsibility to convey the true message of Islam to them to correct and to correct their wrong understanding of the right one. This emerging bigotry not only poses threat to Muslims but also to the western world.
The western world is worried about terrorist organizations acting under the disguise of religion. Those involved in terrorist attacks and their supporters should be punished according to International judicial criteria. However for a long term and viable solution to this problem is teaching the right love based religion. As revealed before terror has no place in Islam. The western world of course has to take precautions and measures to cope with terror. However, it has to state clearly that it is not a war against Muslims and Islam, on the contrary measures serving the best interest of Islam. Support should be provided to spread the true Islam, a religion of love, peace, friendship and brotherhood. The solution for radical fraction is not to force them to become modern, but the spread of right Islamic understanding with an appearance of a Muslim society that can be taken as a role model for its application of Quranic values such as human rights, democracy, good moral values, science and aesthetics.. radical terrorism flourishes in ignorance and bigotry the solution could be provided with the right education. Support to such an education system by the USA, UK, and Europe would yield positive results... we hope that with these measures the world will get rid of terrorism, barbarism, and all other bigoted structures. For Christians dominated western world, is in fact are real friends of Muslims. God says in the Quran, ''Christians are those who are most affectionate to those who believe.''
In history, some ignorant people failed to understand this fact and caused conflict between these two great religions, and they still doing so, to prevent this from happening true Christians and Muslims need to form a cooperative union.
