Hundreds of fires have broken out in several countries all at once. While countries were busy putting out the blazing ones, new fires kept erupting in other different areas. Millions of acres of land have been burnt all around the world. These fires that all started simultaneously and were fueled by heat waves couldn't have been caused by the scorching heat alone. They seem to have been carefully planned to bear in mind the worsening weather of summer. As it is widely known, the majority of fires are always started by humans, and these fires seem to have been started deliberately and the executors of which are spread all around the world, setting forests on fire under a single command. Although the indication of these fires was already given by famous news outlets as "The times" and "The Economists for 2021", countries failed to come up with a firefighting plan. These fires emerge every year, for which reason countries have to take precautions and measures to prevent fires before they reach devastating levels and cause unprecedented harm.
Below I have listed some preventive measures. Using the latest technology, it will be easy to keep future fires and their devastating effects at bay.
Fires are usually kicked in summer with fierce winds fanning the ignited fires. Lowering the temperature is essential to not let fire from starting in the first place which can be done by installing automatic evaporative systems that cool down the air of most heated areas of the forests. To fight a fire, the detection of fire is important for this reason, there should be heat sensors placed in forests at places where heat levels usually go up, meanwhile, because most of fires are always ignited by humans, there should be good monitoring of forest, all kinds of camping that include the use of fire should be forbidden by the forest authority in the peak days of summer in every country, there should be thermal vision cameras to locate every match stick lit up, and the authorities should be active enough to take action for the detected individuals right on time before the fire escalates and gets out of control.
If there is any fire detection, there should be automatic water systems in forests that operate efficiently. The groundwater source should also be closer to the forest to save up time and distance. plus the forest should be managed in a way to limit the spread of fire. There should be wider gaps between forests so that if some area has gotten fire, it will not reach to the rest of the forest, this way bringing the fire under control would also be easy. These gaps could be used as roads, or for different purposes. all this comes at a cost, but the cost of burning fire and loss of living beings including humans and their properties is far greater and regretful. Once these preventive measures are taken, hopefully, what we are being told about even the severest fires in the future will be reduced to lesser and even zero fires with no harm to humans, their properties, animals, and to the forest itself!
