Mass shootings are taking place every other day in the USA. It's almost becoming a new norm over there. According to the nonprofit Gun Violence Archive, the USA has already seen more than 300 mass shootings in the first 6 months of this year. The latest ones occurred in Chicago and several other states of the USA on July 4th, that's just a few days after President Biden signed the most significant bill on guns regulation which had been prompted by another two horrific mass shootings that happened in a school in Texas, and in a Restaurant in Buffalo.
In
most of these mass shootings, the shooters tend to be people of young age, and the
reasons for their mass murders are associated mainly with their poor
mental health. Still, according to the studies, people with poor mental health are mostly the
victims and there is little evidence that such people are more likely to assault or kill someone with a gun. Besides that, there are background checks that don't allow mentally ill people to have guns.
Then what it is that
leads these young and fine-looking people to commit such horrible killings?! One factor that is deliberately ignored by the people is the violence-embracing ideology they are being raised with, and then on top of that, if they get to have easy access to
deadly weapons like guns, it makes the situation even worse.
There is no doubt that Americans are the most heavily armed
citizenry in the world. 2021 National
Firearms Estimate Survey shows that about one-third of U.S. adults own a gun and about 44% live in houses with guns.
Easy access to guns facilitates the application of the hateful ideology. Putting tight control on guns will indeed provide people with some sense of safety, and will have declined mass shootings to some degree. but this would certainly not end the violent sickness these people have in their heads, it will come out one way or another, on a smaller or greater level, whatsoever.
That's why the focus of the United States should be on eliminating the violent ideology that both children and adults are being indoctrinated with. It is the theory of evolution. Through the indoctrination of this theory, people are taught from an early age that they are nothing more than purposeless, animalistic products of evolution. This theory promotes the belief that in order to survive the natural competition in the world, one must fight and establish superiority, viewing others as inferior and disposable. It makes them see life as pointless, and death as the absolute end. It is not surprising that individuals exposed to such horrific teachings may develop a hateful and murderous mindset. Those who perceive others as mere animalistic objects lack remorse for taking lives, including their own.
The ultimate solution lies in educating individuals about the scientific and religious truth that God is the creator of everything, including all human beings. It is vital to emphasize that all individuals are equal in the eyes of God, with no racial superiority. Furthermore, people need to understand that God has created humans with a purpose—to exhibit the best of our character, engage in benevolent actions, and contribute to the betterment of society. It is crucial to convey the message that this life is not the absolute end, that we will be held accountable for our actions, and God will reward us with goodness for our righteous deeds.
Along with this, it is crucial to focus on teaching people the true religious and moral values prescribed by God. These values include living with love, practicing forgiveness, showing compassion, and resolving conflicts through peaceful dialogue instead of resorting to violence. Integrating these teachings into educational institutions is of utmost importance.
Once we instill love compassion forgiveness through education and by implementing those positive traits in our own lives too, we will see a vibrant, loving generation raised who helps others and is generous. Both Republicans and Democrats should work together for the well-being of their youth, a thorough right educational campaign at all levels would turn out to be fruitful for the safety and moral prosperity of the beautiful people of America.
